A Practice Rooted in Connection, Safety, and Whole-Person Healing

Chloe’s Place was founded on the belief that healing happens best in relationship - with ourselves, with others, and with the natural world around us. Chloes Place offers a calm, welcoming environment where children, teens, adults and families can slow down and engage in therapy that honors the whole person - mind, body and nervous system.

Located in Bethel, CT and serving all of Fairfield County, Chloe’s Place serves children, adolescents, adults and families with a focus on trauma, emotional regulation, attachment, autism, and sensory needs.

A Place that Feels Different

Chloe's Place is intentionally designed to feel different from a traditional clinical setting.  Sessions often take place outdoors in nature, with opportunities to engage with horses and other animals that feel grounding and supportive.

Horses, with their innate ability to sense emotional states and respond with authenticity, play a central role in the therapeutic process. Their presence helps clients build trust, increase self-awareness, explore boundaries, and practice new ways of relating—without judgment or expectation. Chloe’s Place is committed to providing ethical, trauma-informed care that honors each client’s story and fosters growth at a pace that feels safe and empowering.

Why This Work Matters to Me

I’ve seen, again and again, that real change happens when people feel safe enough to slow down and be themselves. Not when they’re pushed to explain or perform, but when they’re supported in noticing what’s already there.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent twenty years as a teacher supporting children and families and after that many years as an artist. That work taught me how differently people learn, express themselves, and move through the world, and how important it is to stay open to the process rather than trying to control the outcome.

As a licensed clinician, I’ve worked with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and neurodivergence. My approach has been shaped by experiential, body-based training that emphasizes mindfulness, curiosity, and respect for each person’s pace, as well as by working relationally alongside animals.

This work matters to me because it brings together how people grow and change, creativity, and thoughtful clinical training. Working alongside animals and in nature allows therapy to engage the whole person — mind, body, and experience — in a way that feels honest, grounded, and sustainable.
